It's been a busy year so far at Scrumptious Bakes, and we can't wait for a cosy Christmas next to the fire, with a mince pie or two! Before we put our feet up, we're looking forward to making lots of people's days with our delicious deliveries across Hampshire and beyond!

December: Happy Advent!
We're baking our way into December, with our deliciously soft, buttery vanilla sugar cookies our bestsellers so far! Carefully crafted with delicious, organic and award-winning ingredients, each bite simply melts in the mouth. Beautifully presented, they're the perfect way to say a thoughtful thank you.

November: Winner! Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards 2019
In November, we were honoured to win the award for Best Wedding Cakes at the 2019 Hampshire Wedding Supplier Awards! It was such a privilege to celebrate and champion our fellow suppliers at the evening, and meet so many hard-working, dedicated and passionate fellow suppliers - read all about them here!
It was lovely to meet Naomi and Caroline from The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation too. The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation organise and fund weddings for terminally ill people, and we are a proud supplier of theirs. Naomi is the charity's founder, and it was very special to meet her in person. Click here to read more about Naomi's story and their incredible work.

#SM Spouses Live
We had a fabulous time at the #SM Spouses Live event at The Lights, Andover in late November. With talks and workshops for military partners and spouses linked to social media, our brief was to create cupcakes to celebrate the theme of the day! Which design is your favourite?
Did you know that we can personalise our toppers with any logo, text or photograph - just let us know what you have in mind! Atop our deliciously soft cupcakes, with their light, melt-in-the-mouth buttercream frosting, they are creative, eye-catching and taste as good as they look!
October: When you make your own wedding cake...
My husband, Josh, and I had the most incredible day of our lives on 26th October 2019. Celebrating in the beautiful Forest of Dean, with our friends and family, it truly surpassed our wildest hopes and dreams in every way.
Our fabulous photographer, Phil at Lensmonkey, captured me setting up our wedding cake in our venue, Clearwell Castle, in between getting ready! Thank you to my lovely bridesmaids, Tasha and Anna for their help!
Our wedding cake had three-tiers of soft, indulgent salted caramel sponges, with smooth, whipped salted caramel buttercream and a hidden molten salted caramel drizzle. Deliciously rich, with hints of toffee and butterscotch, it was perfectly accompanied by our gorgeous autumnal flowers from Amy at Lavender's Blue Floristry.
We also had a seven-tier macaron tower, with melt-in-the-mouth almond macarons in shades of ombré pink, filled with creamy Callebaut Belgian white chocolate ganache. Delicious!
We are so looking forward to attending Clearwell Castle's Open Days in the new year, with the first on 5 January 2020. Come and say hello if you're going to be there too!
